Reaching out for support can be one of the most courageous steps a person takes If you’re reading this, you’ve already begun. Feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or simply curious about therapy? All those emotions are valid. It takes strength to be here. In our work together, my priority is to create a space that feels safe, grounded, and free of judgment. This is a space where all parts of you are welcome; your questions, your pain, your hopes, and your story, however it’s unfolding.

Background

I’m a trauma-informed therapist who works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, self-worth, and the impact of past experiences. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Existentialism Psychotherapy. I believe healing happens in connection, when we feel safe enough to be seen and supported. My work is guided by deep respect for your story, your pace, and your inner wisdom. I welcome all identities and strive to create a space that’s affirming, non-judgmental, and real. Therapy with me is a space to untangle, rediscover, and grow.

Your therapeutic experience with me

In our work together, you can expect a calm, grounded space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. I offer gentle guidance, deep listening, and a collaborative approach. I may challenge assumptions and thought patterns in a gentle way, while honouring your pace and intuition. I’ll meet you with curiosity, not judgment, and help you explore patterns, emotions, and needs with compassion. Clients often tell me they feel seen, supported, and more connected to themselves in our sessions. Whether you're holding past pain or facing present struggles, I’m here to help you move from surviving to thriving with greater clarity, self-trust, and ease. This is a space where your story matters.

Therapeutic approaches

These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT)

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) helps individuals and couples understand and transform the emotional patterns that shape their relationships. Rooted in attachment theory, EFT focuses on creating secure emotional bonds by identifying and shifting negative cycles, building empathy, and fostering deeper connection. Benefits include improved communication, reduced conflict, increased emotional safety, and stronger, more resilient relationships. EFT is evidence-based and particularly effective for couples, but also supports individuals in healing attachment wounds and developing healthier relationships with themselves and others.

Gottman Couples Therapy

Gottman Method Therapy is a research-based approach that helps couples strengthen their relationship by improving communication, increasing intimacy, and resolving conflict effectively. It teaches practical tools for managing disagreements, fostering mutual respect, and building a deeper emotional connection. Based on decades of research, the method focuses on enhancing friendship, supporting shared goals, and reducing behaviors that harm trust and connection. Couples often feel more understood, supported, and better equipped to navigate challenges together after engaging in Gottman-based work.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps individuals develop psychological flexibility by learning to accept difficult thoughts and feelings rather than avoiding them. It teaches skills to stay present, clarify personal values, and take meaningful action even in the face of discomfort. ACT can help bring about reduced anxiety and depression, improved emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of purpose and self-compassion. By shifting focus from control to connection, with oneself and with what matters, clients often feel more empowered to live a full, authentic life.

Existential Therapy

Existential therapy helps individuals explore the deeper questions of life, around topics of meaning, freedom, identity, and mortality. Exploration is aimed at nurturing greater self-awareness and authentic living. It encourages clients to face uncertainty with courage, take responsibility for their choices, and live in alignment with their values. Benefits include a stronger sense of purpose, increased personal empowerment, and deeper connection to self and others.
