Welcome. I'm glad you're here. Life can feel heavy when you're carrying grief, trauma, chronic illness, identity questions, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. You may feel overwhelmed, unseen, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to face it alone. Come as you are. Together, we'll create space to explore your story, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward healing, clarity, and self-understanding.

Background

I'm Debbie Airth (she/they), a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) and founder of E.A.S.E. Into Therapy. My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience navigating grief, chronic illness, identity, trauma, and life's unexpected transitions. As an Indigenous, 2SLGBTQ+, and polyamorous therapist, I understand the importance of feeling safe enough to bring your full self into the therapy space. I believe healing happens through connection, authenticity, and being met with compassion rather than judgment. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported exactly as you are.

Your therapeutic experience with me

Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection. You don't need to have the right words, a clear plan, or everything figured out before we begin. I'll meet you where you are, with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your unique experiences. Whether you're navigating grief, trauma, chronic illness, identity exploration, anxiety, relationship challenges, or life transitions, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you. My role isn't to fix you, but to help you reconnect with your strengths, make sense of your story, and create meaningful change in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

Therapeutic approaches

These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

rating

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients make space for difficult thoughts and emotions without being overwhelmed. Together, we explore your values, identity, and hopes, building psychological flexibility to take meaningful steps and live more fully, authentically, and in alignment with what matters.

Person-centered Therapy

Person-centred therapy is at the heart of my work. I offer a space of empathy, honesty, and unconditional support, helping you reconnect with your inner voice, values, and capacity for growth at your own pace, so you can show up fully as yourself.

rating

Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy helps you see your story from new perspectives. Together, we explore and gently reframe limiting or painful narratives, honouring your strengths and resilience. This approach supports reclaiming authorship, hope, meaning, and an authentic identity.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing helps you explore your own reasons for change in a supportive, non-judgmental way. Together, we clarify your values and goals, address doubts, and empower you to take meaningful steps forward at your own pace.

I also draw on other evidence based approaches that can gently support you when they align with what you need:

FAQ

Did you know?

Did you know fact 1

I believe you are not broken, you’re becoming. Healing means reconnecting with your strength and truth, not fixing who you are.

Did you know fact 2

I’m a lifelong learner, always growing my skills in trauma, grief, and identity-affirming care to better support those I work with.

Did you know fact 3

Nature is my reset. You’ll often find me by the water or in the forest, reconnecting with the land, my breath, and what matters.

Did you know fact 4

Therapy with me is human, not clinical. You don’t have to be perfect, just real. I’ll meet you there.

Did you know fact 5

I started this work because I couldn’t find the kind of support I needed. My own experiences with chronic illness, grief, and identity shaped my path.
