Registered Social Worker

Hello and welcome. I know taking this first step can feel big, and I’m here to make this a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself. Together we’ll explore what matters most to you and help you feel more at ease and confident in your life.
Background
I’m a registered social worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including CBT and ACT. I specialize in working with adults who struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. I offer a non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s weighing on you, better understand your patterns, and reconnect with your values. I believe therapy can help you develop self-trust, ease your inner critic, and move toward a life that feels more peaceful, authentic, and meaningful.
Your therapeutic experience with me
Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. You can expect gentle guidance, curious exploration, and a pace that honours where you are. I show up as a real person—compassionate, collaborative, and intentional. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s been weighing on you, explore unhelpful patterns, and connect with the parts of you that need care, not criticism. I draw from approaches like ACT and CBT, blending practical tools with reflection and emotional processing. My goal is for you to feel seen, supported, and empowered as you move toward a life that feels grounded, authentic, and aligned with what matters most to you.

Therapeutic approaches
These are my primary therapeutic approaches, backed by specialized training and extensive clinical experience.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
I use ACT to help clients observe thoughts and feelings without getting stuck, develop skills to respond rather than react, and take meaningful action toward a life that reflects their values. The focus is on growth, resilience, and living in alignment with what truly matters.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
My foundation in therapy is CBT, which helps clients see how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect. It informs my work by providing practical tools to manage challenges, break unhelpful patterns, and respond to life with greater clarity and balance.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
In September 2025, I’ll begin training in IFS. This approach helps clients connect with and understand the different parts of themselves, fostering self-compassion, insight, and inner harmony in a safe, supportive space.
