Background

As a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, I studied at the University of Toronto, completing a Master of Psychospiritual Studies and Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy at Knox College, along with an Honours BA in Sexual Diversity Studies and Sociology. My education is complemented by having had the privilege of working in acute healthcare, youth treatment, and private practice settings. These real-life, situational experiences allow me to bring an immediate understanding that allows me to dive in and walk with you on your journey right away. My integrative approach draws from multiple therapeutic techniques to fit your unique needs.

I encourage clients to start their journey by bringing curiosity, a sense of humour, and patience as we unpack, explore, and develop strategies to help build long-lasting skills to stay grounded, connected, and purposeful.

Therapeutic approaches

These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

Mindfulness

I believe growth and healing emerge when we live mindfully in the present. When we’re stuck in the past or worried about the future, we lose the energy needed for real transformation. By redirecting awareness toward living fully, new possibilities begin to take shape.
