I offer exclusively online or phone services and am dedicated to helping clients find their solutions. 背景
In addition to a Masters Degree in Social Work, I have an M.A. with a focus in depth psychology. Through the years, I have continued to develop my clinical skills through ongoing education and training including the Gottman Method, Level 2, and Treating Affairs and Trauma modules. I am particularly interested in helping individuals and couples learn more about themselves and their relationship dynamics and no less importantly, helping people find the solutions right for them and their lives. It is a strengths-based, insight-oriented, practical approach. To accommodate the reality of the different life demands on clients, I offer daytime, evening, and Saturday morning office hours.

My approach to counselling is collaborative, insight oriented and goal-focused. Our sessions provide a safe and respectful space for you to not only talk about your problems but to also be engaged by a professional trained to actively listen and ask the right questions. At times, I will gently challenge you to think differently and try new, healthier ways of functioning . Together, we carefully clarify your problems and process and find the solutions that are right for you. In my work with couples, we often begin by building a framework for more constructive communication which both builds understanding and allows us to more effectively address the specific challenges you are facing.

Gottman Couples Therapy
I draw on the Gottman Method to help couples gain insight and understanding and for specific tools to improve their dynamics and relatedness-e.g. how to have more constructive discussions, how to restore friendship, how to facilitate compromise, and how to make more effective repairs.
Insight Oriented And Solution Focused
Whether working with couples or individuals, problems are first carefully clarified and brought into focus with a view towards understanding both internal and external road blocks. With a clear understanding , the solutions right for you can be correctly identified, practiced and implemented.
