What types of clients do you work with?

I work primarily with adults, with a special focus on supporting Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) clients. Many of my clients come to therapy for help with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, burnout, or navigating cultural and identity-related challenges.

What can I expect during my first session?

The first session is all about you—your story, your goals, and what you’re hoping to get from therapy. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other, explore your needs, and decide together on a plan moving forward.

What is your therapeutic approach?

I use a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach tailored to each client. My work draws on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies. Together, we’ll find what works best for you.

How do you support BIPOC clients specifically?

I create a space where your full identity is seen and honoured. That means acknowledging cultural experiences, addressing the impact of racism or discrimination, and helping you navigate the unique challenges that come with balancing different cultural expectations.

How long will I need therapy?

Every client’s journey is different. Some people come for short-term support (6–12 sessions) to work on specific goals, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper healing and growth. We’ll discuss your goals and adjust as needed.

Do you offer virtual therapy?

Yes! I provide secure online sessions across Ontario, so you can access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

What if I’ve never been to therapy before?

That’s completely okay. Many of my clients are new to therapy, and I’ll walk you through the process at your pace. Therapy is simply a space for you to talk, reflect, and find new ways to cope and grow—with my support along the way.
