EnglishWhen things feel overwhelming or unclear, having a grounded space to slow down can make a real difference. I offer a calm, practical environment where you can sort through what’s happening, understand your reactions, and figure out what genuinely matters to you. My role is to meet you where you’re at, work with what’s real, and help you move toward the kind of life that feels steady, meaningful, and true to who you are.
背景
My path to counselling began in the wilderness, where I guided groups through multi-day hiking and paddling journeys across BC and the Yukon. Those experiences taught me the value of adaptability, resilience, and the power of connection when facing challenges. Today, as a therapist, I bring that same spirit to the counselling room. Whether clients are standing at a crossroads, seeking clarity, or longing for change, I walk alongside them with compassion and perspective. With a Master’s in counselling psychology building on 20 years of guiding experience, I help people find hope, direction, and the possibility of transformation.
與我經歷治療的體驗
My approach is rooted in presence, clarity, and meaning-making. Together, we look at the patterns that shape your life, the struggles that weigh on you, and the values you want to move toward. This isn’t about quick fixes or labels — it’s about understanding your lived experience and finding a direction that feels genuine and purposeful. Clients often say our work helps them feel more centered, more self-aware, and more connected to what matters. My aim is to walk alongside you as you navigate uncertainty, confront the difficult parts of being human, and build a life that feels authentic, intentional, and aligned with who you want to become.
治療手法
這些是我主要的治療手法,均接受過專業訓練或有豐富臨床經驗:

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps you notice thoughts and emotions without getting stuck or overwhelmed. Instead of fighting difficult experiences, you learn to create space for them and take actions aligned with your values. This builds clarity, steadiness, and purposeful direction.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS focuses on the different “parts” within you — protective, reactive, or wounded aspects of self. By meeting these parts with curiosity instead of judgment, you reduce inner conflict, soften self-criticism, and strengthen your sense of inner leadership.

Existential Therapy
Existential Therapy explores life’s big questions — meaning, choice, freedom, responsibility, and uncertainty. Facing these themes directly helps you clarify what matters, navigate transitions, and live more authentically and intentionally.

Narrative Therapy
Narrative Therapy examines the stories you tell yourself about who you are and what you can do. By stepping back from limiting narratives, you can explore more empowering alternatives that reflect your strengths, values, and potential.
當臨床上適用時,我也能靈活應用這些實證為本的治療手法:

Client-centered / Rogerian Therapy

Outdoor Therapy

Humanistic Therapy
