EnglishParcours
My path to therapy was a bit of a plot twist. I started out studying biology at Trent, convinced I’d stay in the science world. But my own experiences with disordered eating led me to become more curious about the emotional and psychological side of being human. That curiosity eventually took over, and I completed my Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville. The road here wasn’t exactly straight, but it’s part of what helps me show up with honesty, empathy, and a deep appreciation for how messy and meaningful personal growth can be.
Votre expérience thérapeutique avec moi
Working with me is thoughtful, collaborative, and sometimes a little nerdy (in a good way). I’m curious about how people work; our patterns, our emotions, and the stories we carry. Sessions often include reflection, practical tools, and the occasional moment of humour when things get heavy. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what’s really going on, understand yourself more clearly, and experiment with new ways of moving through the world.
Approches thérapeutiques
Voici mes principales approches thérapeutiques, soutenues par une formation spécialisée et une expérience clinique approfondie.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions. Instead of fighting them, you learn to make space for them and focus on actions guided by your values, helping you move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems (IFS) views the mind as made up of different “parts,” each trying to help in its own way. Therapy helps you understand these parts with curiosity and compassion, allowing you to heal old wounds and develop a calmer, more supportive inner relationship.

Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT)
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) helps you better understand and work with your emotions. By safely exploring feelings and the needs beneath them, you can process difficult experiences, reduce self-criticism, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

Taking Daisy on forest walks and listening to an audiobook is one of my favourite activities.
