Background

I am a BCACC registered, CCPA certified clinical counsellor, and BCACC Approved Clinical Supervisor. As a clinician, I have extensive experience in delivering Dialectical Behavior Therapy to high-risk adults, youths and families experiencing concerns such as suicidality, self-harm, impulsivity, depression, anxiety, trauma, and addictions. As a trainer, I have undergone the Train the Trainer Program under Dr. Marsha Linehan’s Behavioural Tech Institute. In addition to the foundational DBT and RO-DBT treatment programs, I am also trained in DBT for Substance Use Disorders (DBT-SUD), DBT Skills in Schools (DBT STEPS-A), DBT for Adolescents (DBT-A), and DBT for Trauma (DBT-PE) Protocols.

Your therapeutic experience with me

At our clinic, we see our clients as true equals. We believe you are the expert of your life, and we are the expert of the skills. Thus, the relationship we have with our clients are genuine ones. We work together to set goals. Skills are practiced as partners. We are not “telling” you what to do: we are walking alongside you, and we believe change happens in true, genuine relationships.
