Background
I am Dr. Esha Jain, founder of Clarity Cove Counselling. With 15 years of experience in Western Medicine and clinical research in mental health, addictions, and mood disorders, my path has always centered around understanding the intricate connection between mind and body. My own journey of growth led me to pursue my Master’s in Counselling, where I discovered my true passion- supporting others in finding healing, strength, and clarity from within. I am here to offer a calm, compassionate space where you can rediscover your voice, unlock resilience, and begin creating a life rooted in authenticity and purpose. Together, we will honour your story and build a path toward confidence and growth.
Your therapeutic experience with me
When you step into Clarity Cove Counselling, you enter a calm and welcoming space where you are truly seen and heard—without judgment or rush. My therapeutic style is gentle yet intentional, blending compassionate guidance with collaborative exploration. Together, we create a safe container where your story unfolds at your own pace. You can expect a deeply personalized approach that balances structure with flexibility—offering practical tools and meaningful reflection. Sessions feel like a partnership: a place where your experiences are honored, your strengths rediscovered, and your goals shaped by what matters most to you.
Therapeutic approaches
These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) into my approach to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Together, we will work to identify unhelpful patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful, lasting change in your daily life.

Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT)
I incorporate Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients deepen their connection with their emotions and understand how feelings guide their experiences. Together, we will explore emotional patterns, work through difficult emotions with compassion, and strengthen your ability to respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and self-awareness.

Solution-focused Therapy
I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients recognize their strengths and build on what’s already working. Together, we will focus on clear, achievable goals and practical solutions that move you forward. This approach emphasizes hope, resilience, and small, meaningful steps toward lasting change.

Strength-based Approach
In my work, I take a strengths-based approach, focusing on your existing skills, resilience, and inner resources. Together, we’ll uncover and build on these strengths to help you navigate challenges, boost confidence, and create meaningful change. This approach empowers you to see yourself not by your struggles, but by your capacity to grow and thrive.
I also draw on other evidence based approaches that can gently support you when they align with what you need:

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Narrative Therapy

Somatic Therapy

Trauma-informed Therapy
