Is Stellocare a clinic?

No, Stellocare is not a clinic. We are a therapist directory where every therapist is carefully selected, and where clients can access real support at any time. Many people find it even more personal than a traditional clinic, because we focus on connection, trust, and care that fits your needs.

How do I find a therapist?

You can search independently using our filters, or contact us for support. Our social workers can help match you with someone who meets your needs.

How do you ensure the quality of the listed therapists?

We have a five-step review process. Each therapist must prove legal registration, business status, and credentials. We only accept provincially protected titles, and we offer a clear reporting system if issues arise. Any serious concern results in removal from the platform.

Why do I have to select a province if I want online therapy?

Most therapists are only allowed to practise in the province where they’re registered even for online therapy. Selecting a province helps ensure we follow legal and professional standards.

Why does one therapist work at multiple clinics?

Many therapists work with different clinics to broaden their experience or focus on unique specialties. Services may vary by clinic, so feel free to compare options or reach out to us. Our social workers can help guide you to the right match.

Are online therapy sessions covered by insurance?

Usually, yes. If your therapist has a provincially regulated title, their services are often covered by insurance. Still, it’s best to check with your provider for details.

Are you a group practice?

No, Stellocare is not a group practice. We are a directory that promotes your solo or private practice. You stay fully autonomous. We simply help increase your visibility and connect you with clients. We also offer step-by-step help if you're building a clinic.

Can I join if I work at a group practice?

Yes. Stellocare is built to support therapists working independently or in groups. If you run a group practice, your team is also welcome to join.

Why should I join a listing platform like Stellocare?

Stellocare helps you stand out online. We support blog publishing, collaborations, and outreach that extend your reach. This is more than a listing. It’s a growing network that brings lasting value to your work.

Do I need to share my income if I’m matched with a client?

No. You keep all of your session income. Matching is included in your subscription, with no cuts taken by us.

Will I get less visibility as more therapists join?

Not at all. A larger network builds trust and increases overall traffic. More therapists show that we’re a strong, reliable community, which means more clients and better exposure for everyone.

Can I pause or cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. Our subscriptions are flexible, with no long-term contracts. You can pause or cancel anytime. We keep things simple and therapist-friendly.

Is there support available if I need help with my listing?

Yes. We’re here to help with your profile, updates, and best practices. You’ll also have access to onboarding materials and visibility tips.
