Stellocare began with a belief: finding the right therapist should feel like a step forward, not a leap into the unknown. Across Canada, where mental health is a growing priority, many people still feel lost when trying to find trusted care. Stellocare was created by therapists who understand that journey. We have supported hundreds of people through this process and seen what makes it more difficult than it should be.
A platform with purpose
We didn’t set out to create just another directory. Stellocare was built to fill a real gap by people who truly understand therapy. Many directories are built by tech companies without mental health experience. Others put profits ahead of people. Stellocare is based on lived experience and clinical knowledge. We know the emotional, ethical, and practical sides of therapy because we have experienced them. That is what makes us different.

Every therapist on Stellocare holds a legally protected title and is registered with a provincial regulator. This is not just a label. It means they meet strict professional and ethical standards. Their services are eligible for the medical expense tax credit and are often covered by major insurers, which gives clients added confidence.
Honest listings, not marketing fluff
Trust begins with transparency. On Stellocare, therapists list only approaches they are trained in or have strong clinical experience with. There are no exaggerated titles or vague language, just clear and trustworthy profiles. Meet the founders
Stellocare was co-founded by Mo Kiu and Tianna, who are partners in both life and purpose. With experience in mental health and healthcare, they saw how difficult it can be for clients to find the right therapist and for therapists to feel fully supported. Stellocare became their answer: a platform shaped by experience, led by compassion, and grounded in the belief that care can be better for everyone.
