Hi, I’m Alexia. I know reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming—sometimes even scary. If you’re here, chances are you’ve been carrying a lot on your own, and you’re ready for something to shift. In our space, you don’t have to have it all figured out. You’ll be met with warmth, understanding, and a genuine curiosity about your story. This is a place where you can exhale, be fully yourself, and start exploring what healing and change could look like for you.

Background

I became a therapist after my own experience with anxiety showed me how transformative the right support can be. I know how heavy it feels to be stuck in your own mind—and how healing it is to feel understood. That’s why I center the therapeutic relationship above all else. I work primarily with women 18–35, offering a compassionate, collaborative space grounded in real connection. My goal isn’t just to help you cope, but to support meaningful, lasting change that extends beyond our sessions.

Your therapeutic experience with me

In sessions with me, you’ll be met with warmth, presence, and no pressure to be anyone but yourself. My approach is gentle and paced with you, creating space to set down what you’ve been carrying and explore it with compassion. I work collaboratively, drawing from IFS, CBT, mindfulness, and narrative therapy to fit your needs—whether that’s understanding protective parts of yourself, rewriting old stories, or learning tools for managing anxiety. Clients often share they feel truly seen, and that safe connection is where real healing begins.

Therapeutic approaches

These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

rating

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS allows us to explore the different parts of you—those that may feel hurt, protective, or critical—with compassion. This approach helps you connect with your inner self in a way that brings healing and wholeness.

rating

Narrative Therapy

Narrative work invites you to step back and see your struggles as just one part of your story—not the whole of who you are. We’ll explore your experiences in a way that empowers you to rewrite your narrative with strength, resilience, and possibility.

rating

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

use CBT to help you notice and shift the thought patterns that fuel anxiety and self-doubt. Together, we’ll work on practical strategies to bring relief and clarity to your everyday life.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

With DBT, I focus on skills that help regulate big emotions, manage distress, and strengthen relationships. These tools are especially helpful when life feels overwhelming or unstable.

I also draw on other evidence based approaches that can gently support you when they align with what you need:
