EnglishBackground
I focus on empowering teens and young adults to overcome the challenges they face and achieve meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or just the everyday pressures of growing up, I am here to provide concrete tools and strategies that will help you build a brighter, more confident future. I believe in giving you more than just talk therapy; I provide concrete tools and strategies to help you implement change in your daily life. Together, we’ll work on creating a path forward that is focused, practical, and empowering.
Your therapeutic experience with me
My training in ADHD, anxiety, and trauma, combined with my use of evidence-based therapies ensures that each session is tailored to meet your needs. I'm committed to helping you make real progress in a way that feels manageable and effective. My approach is structured but flexible, ensuring we move toward meaningful change at a pace that works best for you. Whether you’re struggling with school stress, social pressures, or emotional challenges, therapy can be a powerful step toward growth. I offer evening and weekend sessions, both in-person and virtual, to provide flexibility for busy schedules.
Therapeutic approaches
These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
A goal-oriented approach to identifying negative thoughts, while developing healthier habits and replacing any harmful behavioral patterns.

Solution-focused Therapy
Emphasizes strengths and how to build solutions and goals around these healthy traits. We focus on small achievable steps forward towards a preferred future.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
A trauma-focused method that uses guided eye movement to help the brain process distressing memories and reduce their emotional impact.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
DBT combines CBT and mindfulness strategies to help manage emotions, build skills in distress tolerance, and improve relationships.
I also draw on other evidence based approaches that can gently support you when they align with what you need:

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy

Narrative Therapy
