EnglishEver feel stuck in the same patterns, even when you’re trying to change? Maybe you people-please, turn to substances, or struggle with perfectionism. Relationship challenges—like feeling disconnected or repeating painful dynamics—often go hand in hand with these patterns. My name is Christine and I will help you uncover the roots of these cycles and build healthier ways of relating—to yourself and others.
Background
I am an eclectic therapist working with individuals facing emotional pain, mental health challenges, and the everyday struggles that can leave us feeling stuck. With over 14 years of experience, I offer both talk therapy and art therapy, thoughtfully integrating evidence-based approaches that will support you on your journey.
Your therapeutic experience with me
We all carry stories — shaped by past wounds, challenging moments, or beliefs like “I’m not enough.” Sometimes, these stories lead to patterns like self-isolation, people-pleasing, or self-sabotage that once helped us cope, but now hold us back. In our work together, we’ll gently explore these experiences through conversation or creative expression, helping you understand what’s behind them and what you truly need now. We may process trauma, explore mental health challenges, and build tools that support your emotional well-being. With compassion and curiosity, we’ll create space for healing, growth, and kinder ways of relating to yourself and the world around you.
Areas of expertise
These are the areas I commonly work with, and they form a big part of the support I offer in my practice:
I also support you in these additional areas and welcome you to reach out if any of them speak to what you are going through:
Therapeutic approaches
These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

ART Therapy
Art therapy helps clients access feelings and experiences that can be hard to express in words. Creating art often bypasses defenses, allowing core issues to surface safely. This fosters self-awareness and emotional release, opening paths to healing beyond talk therapy. Art becomes a bridge to explore inner conflicts and trauma, helping clients express what feels hidden or overwhelming. Ultimately, it supports transformation by making the invisible visible, empowering meaningful change.

Cognitive Processing Therapy
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) helps you challenge beliefs shaped by trauma that may still be causing pain. Through structured reflection and skill-building, CPT supports you in reshaping these patterns, reducing distress, and reclaiming a sense of safety and empowerment.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a gentle therapy that helps you understand the different “parts” inside you—like feelings, thoughts, or voices—that affect how you feel and act. Each part has a positive intention, even if it causes you stress. In IFS, we get to know these parts, listen to them, and help them work together in a kind and balanced way. This helps you feel more whole and peaceful inside.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected. It offers practical tools to challenge unhelpful thinking and build healthier habits—supporting you in managing anxiety, depression, and everyday stress more effectively.
I also draw on other evidence based approaches that can gently support you when they align with what you need:

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

Somatic Therapy
