Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I offer a grounded, compassionate presence rooted in a background in Healthcare, Education, and personal life transitions. These experiences inspire my passion to walk alongside others with curiosity and empathy as they navigate change, challenge, and growth. Therapy is your space to breathe, reset, and begin showing up as the version of yourself that feels most authentic.
Background
I have a rich history working in both Healthcare and Education, and it was time to engage in a field that has always held my heart. I undertook another transition into the field of Psychotherapy. I have always felt that age does not define me, and I will continue to be a lifelong learner, though my future learning will remain focused in this field. I believe that transitions are an inherent part of being human, and we all experience or endure them. Some transitions are welcome, while others are challenging and incredibly difficult. My age and experience with navigating transitions and challenges offer a unique perspective and vantage point that could be beneficial to you.
Your therapeutic experience with me
Therapy is your space to breathe, reset, and begin showing up as the version of yourself that feels most authentic. As an active and engaged listener, I can help you focus on the issues that are important to you. I utilize various person-centred therapeutic approaches, tailored to your unique needs. My methods include compassion-focused therapy, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, somatic experiencing, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I believe in meeting clients where they are, fostering trust, empathy, and curiosity.
