Cindy's
Warm video welcome

Welcome. Along your journey, you or your child may have faced unexpected challenges that feel overwhelming or isolating. Others may view you as someone who has it all together, but internally you are anxious, unmotivated, or shut down. Imagine what it would feel like to begin moving from your hurt towards hope. Providing support for your healing process in a calm, non-judgmental space is something I consider a privilege as your therapist. Reach out when you are ready and let's work together.
Background
With a client-centered approach, I meet you where you are—honoring your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I have extensive experience working with adults, teens, children, and couples, and am passionate about supporting clients through life’s challenges. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Practitioner, I’m trained in trauma-informed therapy and committed to creating a safe, compassionate space for healing. My background in providing spiritual care allows me to comfortably integrate faith into sessions at your request. I believe in working collaboratively, respecting your pace, and empowering you to move toward meaningful change. Your well-being is always at the heart of my practice.
Your therapeutic experience with me
Whether you are a parent bringing your child/teen, an adult seeking support, or coming as a couple or family, my therapy space is designed to meet you in your current season of life. For children, sessions may include play/creativity; for teens, honest conversation and guidance; for adults, space for reflection and growth; for couples and families, a focus on communication and connection. With warmth, curiosity, and trauma-informed clinical specialty, I tailor each session to your unique circumstances and goals. You’ll find a space where you are welcomed, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on what matters most to you.

Therapeutic approaches
These are my primary therapeutic approaches, backed by specialized training and extensive clinical experience.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS helps you explore and understand the different “parts” of yourself, fostering self-compassion and internal balance. By working with these parts, you can heal emotional wounds, reduce inner conflict, and gain greater clarity and self-acceptance.

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy integrates talk therapy with body awareness. By noticing how emotions and trauma show up physically, you can process difficult experiences, build resilience, and develop new ways to regulate stress and emotions.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
DBT offers practical skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and coping with stress. Through mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, you can achieve greater stability and balance.

Trauma-informed Therapy
A trauma-informed approach recognizes the impact of trauma on your life and well-being. It creates a safe, supportive environment, prioritizing trust and empowerment while helping you process experiences at your own pace and build healthy coping skills.
I also incorporate these evidence-based approaches when clinically appropriate:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Mindfullness & Somatic Practices

Gottman Couples Therapy
