Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want you to know you don’t have to do it alone. Many people come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck in self-criticism, or unsure how to cope with the weight of expectations. My first priority is creating a space where you feel understood, safe, and supported and where you don’t need to mask or shrink yourself to be accepted.

Background

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. My own journey with ADHD gives me a deep appreciation for the challenges of living in a world not always designed for our brains. Professionally, I have experience supporting individuals navigating ADHD, Autism, and disordered eating, which has deepened my understanding of how exhausting it can be to feel unseen or misunderstood. My values are compassion, authenticity, and empowerment. I bring a non-judgmental, inclusive, and affirming lens to therapy. I believe healing happens when you feel seen as your full self, not just the parts you show to the world.

Your therapeutic experience with me

Working with me is a collaborative process. Together, we’ll slow down, make sense of your story, and build tools that fit you. I offer a balance of gentle reflection and practical strategies, so therapy feels both supportive and actionable. You can expect curiosity, warmth, and humour in our sessions, alongside space for the hard emotions that need to be heard. I also work to help my client's find strategies that work with their brain rather than against it. My clients often describe therapy with me as a place where they can exhale. It is a place where it is safe to lay down perfectionism, people-pleasing, or constant self-doubt, and begin building self-trust and compassion.

Therapeutic approaches

These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

rating

Neurodiversity-affirming Therapy

I provide neurodiversity-affirming therapy that celebrates your unique wiring. We focus on understanding your strengths, navigating challenges, and building strategies that honour who you are. I work to support growth, self-acceptance, and living life on your terms.

rating

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients accept difficult thoughts and feelings, notice them without judgment, and connect with values. Together, we build flexibility, self-compassion, and meaningful action toward a more fulfilling life.

rating

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)

I use EMDR to help clients access and process the root of their symptoms. By safely reprocessing past experiences that drive current struggles, we reduce their emotional impact, release unhelpful patterns, and create space for healing and lasting change.

Weight-inclusive / Health At Every Size

I offer weight-inclusive, HAES-aligned therapy that focuses on health, well-being, and self-compassion rather than weight. We work on body acceptance, intuitive living, and challenging diet culture so you can feel empowered, confident, and at home in your body.

I also draw on other evidence based approaches that can gently support you when they align with what you need:
