Background
My professional background includes years of training and experience working with members of LGBTQIA+, Ethically Non-Monogamous, and Kink communities. My training is focused in attachment-based, narrative, strengths-based approaches to individual therapy. As a couples therapist I have training in the developmental model of relationship therapy and Gottman methods. I value an open and honest approach to client-centered therapy. I work directly with my clients to tailor treatment plans unique to them. Collaboration is a core aspect of my practice.
Your therapeutic experience with me
I offer a collaborative and open therapeutic experience. I encourage my clients to let me know if the current approach is no longer working for them. As an eclectic therapist I am trained in many modalities and every client is unique. You will not find a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy with me. Sessions can flow from casual to structured depending on your needs, though it is unlikely you will experience a rigid and manualized approach to therapy with me. As your guide, I will gently challenge you to bring desired change into your life, and be here to support you every step of the way.

Therapeutic approaches
These are my primary therapeutic approaches, backed by specialized training and extensive clinical experience.

Attachment Focused Therapy
Many of us have faced ruptures to our attachment figures which can cause stress, anxiety, or avoidance of future connections. By focusing on creating secure attachments I help clients to challenge pre-held beliefs about what it means to be truly trust in another person.

Neurodiversity-affirming Therapy
No eye-contact? No problem! Need to fidget or pace in session? I welcome you! As a neurodivergent therapist myself I always strive to offer an affirming and inclusive environment. Whether you are looking to unmask, or are just looking to cope, I can help you along the way.

Narrative Therapy
What story are you telling yourself about who you are? Is your current narrative still serving you? We aren't always consciously aware of how our inner narrative and pre-conceived expectations influence or mental health or daily interactions. If you're ready to re-write your story, reach out!

Client-centered / Rogerian Therapy
This is your life, your health. You are the expert of your own experiences. I bring my knowledge, and your bring yours! Clients are at the core of the therapeutic relationship. You hold all of the knowledge on who you are and what you need. The therapist is your guide in change, to support you.
I also incorporate these evidence-based approaches when clinically appropriate:
