I provide a welcoming space for you to explore your feelings and experiences without judgment. With empathy and compassion rooted in my upbringing and life in rural Alberta, I provide a welcome space. Through humour, respect, and personalized care, I'll be by your side as you navigate toward a brighter, more fulfilling future.
Background
I have come into the profession of counselling after many years in banking as a front-line advisor and leader. Growing up in rural Alberta and working in the corporate world gave me a unique perspective and the ability to relate to the challenges of navigating the corporate world, parenthood, marriage, and aging parents.
Your therapeutic experience with me
My approach is person-centred. I take the time to get to know you and understand where you've come from and what might be getting in your way. I am warm, approachable, and nonjudgmental. I have a keen interest in untangling the complexities of life and working with you to find clarity.

Person-centered Approach
A person-centred approach means creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard and understood. This helps you gain clarity, self-acceptance, and the confidence to make changes that matter to you.

Acceptance And Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps clients by teaching skills to handle difficult thoughts and feelings more effectively, while clarifying what truly matters to them. This combination supports greater flexibility, self-acceptance, and the ability to take meaningful steps toward a valued life.

Eye Movement Desensitization And Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
Attachment-Informed EMDR helps people heal from past hurts by gently working through painful memories in the safety of a supportive relationship. It strengthens self-worth, eases emotional triggers, and helps build healthier connections with others.
