Life is messy. People are complex. And healing? It happens through honest, human connection. I’m a therapist who works with professionals, entrepreneurs, midlifers, older adults, and couples navigating change, burnout, disconnection, or the sense that something important is missing. Clients often tell me I’m insightful, funny, and easy to talk to. You won’t get a blank stare or a clipboard full of homework. Instead, you’ll find a space where your whole self is welcome.

Background

Today I am the co-founder of Ever Therapy, but before I became a therapist, I built businesses, raised a family, and worked in executive leadership. I've experienced reinvention, uncertainty, and the quiet pressure to keep it together. That mix of life experience and clinical training helps me meet clients with both context and curiosity. My approach is evidence-based and collaborative. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, CBT, and Solution-Focused techniques. For couples, I use Gottman-informed work. We’ll start by clarifying what matters to you, and then choose a path that fits - whether that means goal-oriented tools, deeper reflection, or both.

Your therapeutic experience with me

Healing doesn’t mean fixing yourself. It means reconnecting with clarity, direction, and a sense of self you can trust. For some people, that means feeling lighter. For others, it means facing change with more strength and increased insight. I believe it is my honour to be a partner in your therapy journey. I work in person in Calgary and virtually across Alberta. I'm a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and my services are covered by most insurance plans. If it sounds like I might be a good match to what you are looking for, let’s connect for a consultation and see if moving forward with a session makes sense for you!

Therapeutic approaches

These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

rating

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems (IFS) empowers you to understand and heal the different “parts” of yourself, like the inner critic or overachiever, by building self-compassion and inner balance. It turns inner conflict into collaboration and helps you feel more calm, clear, and in control.

Solution Focused Brief Therapy

Solution Focused Therapy helps us move toward your goals by focusing on strengths, resources, and what is already working. It is practical, brief, and future focused, helping clients create change without getting stuck in the past. Small steps can lead to big shifts.

Gottman Couples Therapy

Gottman Method helps you understand and improve your relationship by building trust, improving communication, and managing conflict. You learn practical tools to strengthen connection, repair after fights, and deepen friendship so your relationship feels more secure and supportive.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative Therapy helps you explore the stories you tell about yourself and your life. Together, we look at where those stories come from, which ones still serve you, and which ones you’re ready to rewrite, so you can live with more choice, clarity, and confidence.

I also draw on other evidence based approaches that can gently support you when they align with what you need:
