Registered Psychotherapist
EnglishMandarinI am a Registered Psychotherapist for individual/couples/family in Ontario, Canada. I specialize in healing relational and trauma wounds via psychoanalytic and somatic/EMDR/IFS therapy—especially for immigrants, professionals, LGBTQ+, ADHDers, CPTSD/NPD/sexual abuse survivors, adoption parents, and medical helpers. My life experiences have deepened my compassion, so I can hold a personalized space for my clients from diverse backgrounds. Email me or visit my website to book a free consultation.
Background
I work with people who carry the weight of relational pain, complex trauma, abuse, or identity-based harm. In our sessions, we'll slow down and listen to what your mind and body have been holding for so long. You may feel more grounded and connected gradually and steadily. Healing isn't about fixing what's broken - it's about reclaiming safety, trust, self-compassion and wholeness.
Your therapeutic experience with me
Many clients come feeling like they or their relationships “should be fine”, but deep down they feel confused, disconnected, overwhelmed, or burdened, just not knowing why. Unprocessed past experiences can be stored in our body, causing anxiety, depression, numbness, self esteem issues, tougher life transitions, or disturbed relationships. In our sessions, we'll gently reconnect the parts that have been shut down by stress, anger, fear, shame, or grief, make sense of everything that's important to you, help you to express yourself freely, and rediscover your authentic self.
Areas of expertise
These are the areas I commonly work with, and they form a big part of the support I offer in my practice:

I also support you in these additional areas and welcome you to reach out if any of them speak to what you are going through:
Therapeutic approaches
These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic therapy explores how unconscious processes, early life experiences, and recurring emotional patterns influence current behavior and relationships. Through insight into these hidden influences, therapy fosters emotional freedom and healthier connections.

Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy is based on the principle that the mind and body are inseparable, and that trauma, stress, and emotional pain become stored in the body. By developing mindful body awareness, it helps release tension, regulate the nervous system, and restore a sense of safety and embodiment.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
EMDR is a structured, evidence-based therapy designed specifically to alleviate the distress of traumatic memories. It uses bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess stuck traumatic memories. This reduces their emotional intensity, effectively alleviating symptoms of PTSD.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS views the mind as naturally multiple, composed of various sub-personalities or "parts." The goal is to access your core, compassionate Self to understand, heal, and harmonize these inner parts.
I also draw on other evidence based approaches that can gently support you when they align with what you need:
