Warm video welcome

Hi, I’m Lindsey. Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and I want you to feel safe in this first step. If you’ve been struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, or feeling “too much” in relationships, you’re not alone. In our work together, you’ll find a space where your experiences are heard with compassion and where we focus on building the balance, confidence, and connection you’ve been seeking.
Background
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a focus on helping teens and adults who feel weighed down by anxiety, self-doubt, or relationship struggles. My practice is rooted in evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, EFT, and Psychodynamic therapy, combined with a self-compassion lens. I value creating an authentic, non-judgmental space where clients can deepen their emotional insight, learn practical strategies for emotion regulation, and strengthen their sense of security in themselves and their connections.
Your therapeutic experience with me
Working with me means entering a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, reflect, and truly be yourself. Therapy is collaborative—I’ll guide you with curiosity and care, while offering strategies to help you manage overwhelming emotions, ease anxiety, and shift unhelpful patterns. Together, we’ll explore the roots of your struggles while building tools that support healthier relationships and stronger self-esteem. My clients often describe feeling both understood and empowered, with a clearer path toward lasting change.
Areas of expertise
These are the areas I commonly work with, and they form a big part of the support I offer in my practice:

I also support you in these additional areas and welcome you to reach out if any of them speak to what you are going through:
Therapeutic approaches
These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
DBT helps with intense emotions and reactivity by teaching concrete skills for distress tolerance, mindfulness, and emotional regulation. For clients experiencing anxiety or attachment challenges, DBT creates space between feeling and reacting—making it easier to respond with clarity instead of impu

Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT)
EFT supports healing through understanding the emotional patterns in relationships. By uncovering attachment needs and reshaping how you connect, EFT helps reduce anxiety in relationships and builds more secure, balanced bonds with yourself and others.

Psychodynamic Therapy
This work explores the deeper roots of anxiety, self-esteem issues, and attachment wounds. By bringing unconscious patterns into awareness, clients gain insight into why they feel “not enough” or “too much,” and can begin to rewrite these long-standing narratives with greater self-compassion.

Compassion Focused Approach
Many clients with anxiety or low self-worth struggle with harsh inner criticism. A self-compassion approach softens this inner voice, helping you treat yourself with the same care you offer others. This practice strengthens resilience, builds self-esteem, and supports secure, authentic relationships
I also draw on other evidence based approaches that can gently support you when they align with what you need:
