Background

I am a counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and over 8 years of experience supporting individuals, children, and adolescents. My approach is simple: I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted. Together, we explore your concerns and find practical solutions that work for you.

Your therapeutic experience with me

Do you feel stuck or overwhelmed by what is happening in your life? Do you feel the need to talk to someone who will listen, understand, and support you? I am a counsellor with over 8 years of experience working with individuals, children, and adolescents. I support clients who are going through difficult situations, emotional challenges, and life changes. My goal is to help you better understand your feelings, find ways to manage difficult emotions, and discover solutions that work for you. I offer a warm, caring, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to talk openly. I believe that every person is different, and I respect each client’s needs, strengths, and pace.

Therapeutic approaches

These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

rating

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS helps you explore and understand the different “parts” of yourself, fostering self-compassion and internal balance. By working with these parts, you can heal emotional wounds, reduce inner conflict, and gain greater clarity and self-acceptance.

rating

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

I use ACT to help individuals accept uncomfortable experiences/feelings and commit to using their values when exploring what actions to take. It involves opening up about your thoughts and feelings without judgment and learning to observe them as they are rather than being controlled by them.

rating

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you identify, challenge, and modify maladaptive thinking patterns. It can help in addressing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. It can help you gain strategies for ways to manage your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in difficult situations.
