Registered Psychotherapist

Recognizing the cultural differences in acknowledging mental health, it is important for me to provide a space for all individuals to explore challenges, overcome obstacles, and build tools to regulate their nervous systems. To me, therapy is about self-awareness and healing. It takes a lot of courage to seek help, and I admire your first step into this unknown. By seeking support, you have already taken the first vital step towards self-growth.
Background
I'm a trauma therapist, and I work integratively and eclectically with my clients to figure out which approach works best for them. I approach my clients with curiosity, care, and a strong foundation in Trauma-Informed therapy, Attachment therapy, CBT, DBT, Relational and Person-focused psychotherapies. It is my job to help you develop skills and tools in order to thrive.
Your therapeutic experience with me
I focus on building a relationship with my clients rooted in safety, respect, and containment. I'm happy to make sure that therapy works for you, knowing that some people like more structure or feedback than others. I ask questions to understand and approach everything with the belief that everything you have done in your life which has gotten to this point has been the best you knew how to do, and it helped you survive, even if it's no longer working for you.
