Registered Social Worker
EnglishI believe therapy works best when you can show up exactly as you are: messy thoughts, nervous laughter, tears, sarcasm and all. The stories shared in my office often hold pain, grief, and loss, but they also reveal resilience, growth, and hope. At the core of my work is a belief I stand by: healing is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone. My role is to walk alongside you as you work toward a life that feels more aligned, grounded, and yours.
Background
I’m a Registered Social Worker (#13286) with Alberta College of Social Workers based in Calgary, Alberta. Alongside my private practice, I also work as a Clinical Social Worker with Alberta Health Services. I graduated from the University of Windsor - Masters of Social Work with a Minor in Psychology (specialization in the treatment of eating disorders). With over 12 years of experience in mental health, I’ve supported adults, adolescents, and families extensively in intensive treatment programs.
Your therapeutic experience with me
My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and trauma-informed. A space to untangle old patterns, make sense of what you’re carrying, and create something different. In addition to traditional psychotherapy including, CBT, DBT, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), I also utilize EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) along with somatic therapies in my practice. My goal is to create a warm space where you can slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what you’re going through.
