Background

I’ve spent years walking alongside people through life’s big changes—as a celebrant, counsellor, and now as a psychotherapist. What guides me is a belief in empathy, compassion, and creating a safe space where you can feel truly heard. My approach is grounded in respect for your unique story, trauma-informed care, and a focus on what matters most to you. I know reaching out takes courage, and my role is to meet you where you are—with warmth, understanding, and a genuine commitment to your growth and well-being.

Your therapeutic experience with me

Stepping into my care means entering a calm, welcoming space where you can exhale and be yourself. Our time together is collaborative and compassionate—I’ll listen deeply, gently guide when needed, and walk alongside you as we explore what matters most. Some sessions may feel like structured support, while others may feel like open conversations, but always to help you feel seen, heard, and supported. I hope that you leave each session lighter, more transparent, and more connected to yourself.

Therapeutic approaches

These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

rating

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you make space for difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them. It focuses on mindfulness, clarifying what matters most to you, and taking small, meaningful steps toward a life that feels fulfilling and true to your values.

rating

Strength-based Approach

Strengths-Based Therapy focuses on your existing abilities, resilience, and resources. Instead of only looking at problems, it helps you recognize and build on what’s already working, so you can face challenges with greater confidence and create positive change.

rating

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions. By identifying unhelpful patterns and practicing new ways of thinking and coping, you can reduce stress, manage challenges more effectively, and feel more in control of your life.

Intergrative

Integrative Therapy blends different approaches—like CBT, ACT, and mindfulness—to fit your unique needs. Instead of a one-size-fits-all method, it draws on the best tools for you, creating flexible and personalized support for healing and growth.
