Canadian Certified Counsellor
EnglishArabicHello and welcome! Are you or your child struggling with ADHD, autism, or just feeling like your mind won’t slow down? Maybe it’s trouble focusing, constant worry, racing thoughts, or a lack of motivation. Or maybe you’re carrying sadness from a recent loss, feeling stuck in anger you can’t shake, or running into the same communication struggles over and over again. Life can feel exhausting when these challenges pile up.
Background
I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor, extensive experience helping youth, adults, and families navigate anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, and life transitions. I have training in ASD, grief, stress management, cultural adjustment, and career counselling. My approach blends empathy, evidence-based techniques, and a deep respect for your unique story. I offer sessions in both English and Arabic.
Your therapeutic experience with me
From the moment you walk into my counselling space—whether in person in CALGARY or online anywhere in ALBERTA—you’re met with warmth, respect, and genuine curiosity about your story. I offer a calm, non-judgmental environment where you can exhale and be yourself, knowing you are safe to share both your pain and your hopes. My therapy style is gentle yet purposeful: we work together as collaborators, blending compassionate listening with practical, evidence-based strategies tailored to your needs. Clients often describe our sessions as both grounding and empowering—like having a guide who walks beside you, shining light on the path forward while respecting your pace.

Therapeutic approaches
These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

Person-centered Approach
I use a person-centered approach, focusing on your experiences, feelings, and goals. In a supportive, non-judgmental space, I provide empathy, understanding, and guidance to help you explore solutions and build on your strengths.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
I use CBT, a practical, evidence-based approach that helps identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. Together, we work on strategies to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other challenges, and develop healthier thinking patterns that support positive change.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy
I provide culturally sensitive therapy, recognizing and respecting your unique background, culture, and experiences. Sessions are tailored to honor your values and identity, creating a safe and inclusive space where you feel understood and supported.

Play-based Approach
I use a play-based approach to help children and teens express their feelings, build skills, and work through challenges in a safe and engaging way. Play becomes a bridge to understanding emotions, improving coping, and fostering growth.
I also draw on other evidence based approaches that can gently support you when they align with what you need:
