EnglishBackground
Being a therapist is a responsibility and honour I take seriously, and a meaningful and fulfilling part of my identity. I am an advocate for self-care and for taking space to unwind, connect, and be nurtured by what calms and inspires us – hence, finding those places to pause. This work allows me to connect deeply with others and foster some much-needed human connection. My practice is inspired by our unique and shared humanity; we all embody edges, hardships, and “flaws” which I believe are to be honoured and safely explored. I find value in nurturing the hardened parts that we have learned to hide, in welcoming vulnerability, and re-defining what is “normal” and “acceptable”.
Your therapeutic experience with me
I work with individuals who are navigating life transitions and healing from various life disruptions. I specialize in trauma, attachment and relationships, boundary development, self-concept, work issues, and women's issues, and believe whole-heartedly in the power of relational and supportive counselling. I am passionate about supporting individuals in exploring their past, understanding their patterns of behaviour, and helping them make meaning of their experiences. If you are looking to re-establish your identity, self-concept, or make sense of your experiences and behavioural patterns, connect with me to get started!
