EnglishYou may look like you have it all together, while quietly feeling like you’re never quite enough. Maybe you overthink, second-guess yourself, people-please, strive for perfection, or feel exhausted from constantly holding everything together. I help thoughtful, sensitive adults and couples understand the patterns beneath shame, self-doubt, anxiety, and disconnection—and build a kinder, more confident relationship with themselves and others.
Background
I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can finally exhale—where you don’t have to perform, have all the answers, or prove your worth. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario and a Registered Counselling Therapist (Candidate) in Nova Scotia, with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I work with adults, adolescents, and couples navigating shame, self-doubt, anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout, and relationship difficulties. My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centred. Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the struggle and build greater self-compassion, confidence, and connection.
Your therapeutic experience with me
Therapy with me is about creating meaningful, lasting change—not simply talking about what’s wrong. Together, we’ll work toward feeling more confident in yourself, breaking cycles of overthinking and self-criticism, setting healthier boundaries, managing emotions more effectively, and building more secure, connected relationships. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of your patterns, practical tools for navigating challenges, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself. My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling more grounded, capable, and in control of your life.
Areas of expertise
These are the areas I commonly work with, and they form a big part of the support I offer in my practice:

I also support you in these additional areas and welcome you to reach out if any of them speak to what you are going through:
Therapeutic approaches
These are the approaches at the heart of my work, and I use them often because they help create meaningful change:

Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT)
EFT helps you understand the emotional patterns shaping your relationships and break cycles of conflict, withdrawal, or disconnection. Together, we work toward greater emotional safety, deeper understanding, and more secure, connected relationships.

Compassion Focused Approach
Compassion-Focused Therapy helps you soften harsh self-criticism and develop a kinder, more supportive relationship with yourself. Together, we work to reduce shame, strengthen self-worth, and build greater emotional resilience when life feels difficult.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps you stop getting stuck in difficult thoughts and feelings so you can focus on what truly matters to you. You’ll learn to respond more flexibly to challenges, make values-based choices, and build a life that feels meaningful and authentic.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
DBT gives you practical skills to manage intense emotions, reduce impulsive reactions, navigate difficult situations, and communicate more effectively. The goal is greater emotional stability, healthier coping, and a stronger sense of control in your daily life.
I also draw on other evidence based approaches that can gently support you when they align with what you need:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
